Air France Paris CDG to Taipei Taoyuan:
On 16th April Air France launched its new route between Paris CDG (CDG) and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE). Air France will deploy 280-seat 777-200s to operate on this 9872km route 3 times weekly. Flights from Paris (CDG) are scheduled to depart on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This route will surely give a boost to the holiday travellers who would be delighted with the new route in operation. Air France would compete directly with EVA Air who already operates daily between the two airports.
Flydubai to operate from Dubai (DXB) to Dubrovnik:
On 10th April flydubai commenced its new air service from Dubai to Dubrovnik, Croatia. This 3,880-kilometre route will operate three times weekly. This is a summer special route and will be in service from 10 April to 25 October 2018. This will obviously increase the connectivity of Dubrovnik and will make it more accessible from the Middle East, Asia and Australia and will contribute substantially to the development of tourism of the sector.
Egyptair to fly between Cairo and Moscow:
Egypyair on 12th April commenced its flights between Cairo (CAI) and Moscow Domodedovo (DME). This ended the 28 months pause in between the service. The route covers 2,857-kilometre Egypt–Russia capital connection. The route will be operational three times a week. It will be a mixture of its 737-800s and short-haul Airbus fleet. No other carrier operates between the two places currently. Recently Aeroflot has also commenced flights between the two airports of Cairo and Russia. The first flight was welcomed at Moscow airport with a water arch salute.
Norwegian to operate between Paris CDG (CDG) and Oakland (OAK):
Norwegian airline added its new route to Oakland, California from Paris CDG. The airline started its operations from 10th. The European carrier will operate its 8,940-kilometre airport pair four times weekly. It will deploy its 787-9 Dreamliner fleet for this purpose. This new route makes Oakland airport into more focus and easy and convenient choice for travellers. It will serve as a convenient route for passengers travelling from Paris to Oakland in California.
Qantas Flies Nonstop between London and Perth:
This newly launched route on 25th March by Qantas Airline became the world’s second longest route to operate a nonstop flight between Europe and Australia. This route has a flight time of 17 hours. This route covers a distance of 9010 miles nonstop from London to Perth a beautiful city situated along Australia’s scenic west coast. Perth is very popular tourist destination spot with its beaches and beautiful ambience with delightful scenic beauty. This new route will surely attract travellers and boost tourism.
Lufthansa Resumes San Jose to Frankfurt Route:
On March 25th Lufthansa resumed its flight operations from San Jones to Frankfurt which was on a halt due to wintertime pilot shortage. This route is served by A340-300 aircraft while operates five times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Southwest Launched New Flights to Mexico & Caribbean:
Great news for tourist in the mood of the Caribbean or Mexican beach getaway. Southwest on March 8th launched daily flights operating between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Aruba (AUA). Additional flights were launched between San Diego (SAN) and Puerto Vallarta (PVR), San Jose (SJC) and San José del Cabo (SJD), Sacramento (SMF) and San José del Cabo (SJD) and Indianapolis (IND) and Cancún (CUN).
Hong Kong Airlines Launched Flights between San Francisco and Hong Kong:
- Hong Kong airlines which began operation in 2006. It launched a new nonstop flight route between San Francisco (SFO) and Hong Kong (HKG). A new A350-900 aircraft will operate on this route four times per week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Daily flight operation is expected to start by mid-August.
